Monster Movies
This area Contains movies of monsters and scary themes.
The 75th Anniversary edition of Universal Picture’s Dracula is on DVD. Just like the Frankenstein box, it has bronze-color foil lettering. Lots of extras are on this DVD. –but, I think you can find better Bela interviews on Youtube! |

The 75th Anniversary edition of Universal Picture’s Frankenstein is on DVD! Well worth the cost to have the cool extras and the foil lettered box! -well, I think so. It replaces my bootleg VHS copy! |

The Special edition of Universal Picture’s The Mummy is on DVD. It’s made to look like the two pervious monster DVD boxes. Very good monster fun! |

Invisible Man - The Legacy Collection Using movie magic techniques to depict invisibility that were used for the next 67 years (until CGI was used in Hollow Man), Claude Rains stars. This DVD also contains 6 other invisible movies! |

The Wolf Man - The Legacy Collection This DVD contains The Wolf Man; Werewolf of London; Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man; She-Wolf of |

The Creature From The Black Lagoon - The Legacy Collection Making it unsafe to swim in the water 21 years before Jaws! The under water sequences scared the crap out of me when I was little! Rediscover the joy! This edition also contains the two sequels: Revenge of the Creature / The Creature Walks Among Us. |

Abbott and Costello: The Complete Universal Pictures Collection I don’t have the space to list all of the movies in this package –but I can tell you that it contains all of Abbott & Costello’s Universal monster movies and a lot more! |

Van Helsing Starring: Hugh Jackman & Kate Beckinsale Okay, some Universal Studios purest panned this movie. I thought it was good monster fun! If anything you’ll like it because it has Wolverine! The werewolf transformations are unique and are a must-see.
|

Sweeney Todd - The Demon Barber of Fleet Street Starring Johnny Depp & Helena Bonham Carter; Directed by Tim Burton. This is the movie where blood is the main character. A production that’s just as scary as the stage play –but too bad Angela Lingberry’s stage performance wasn’t captured on film! |

Ed Wood – Special Edition The story of who many consider to be the worst film maker of all time: Edward D. Wood Jr. Although historically inaccurate, this film captures Wood’s passion for film making and is an inspiration for new film makers. The acting performances are very good (Martin Landau won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his performance as Bela Lugosi). It’s a very good telling of how Plan 9 from Outer Space and other Wood classics were made. |

The Night Stalker/The Night Strangler (Double Feature) I’m glad to see that this series is getting attention again! Darren McGavin plays the investigative reporter Carl Kolchak, who finds himself working on cases that have that weird factor. These are the made for TV movies that launched the short-lived TV series (Kolchak: The Night Stalker). |

Trilogy of Terror Okay, I haven’t seen this movie in a long time and I don’t remember the other two stories –but the story where Karen Black is being chased around the house by an evil wooden warrior figure is enough for a kid to get rid of his action figures for fear that they will come to life and try to kill him! |

The Evil Dead The start of the series that launched the career of Bruce Campbell! There’s something more creative when you see a movie with very little post postproduction work. No CGI here. It’s Bruce with a bucket of blood in a haunted cabin. |
